Verify the task compatibility module is started by checking for event 700 in the Microsoft-Windows-TaskScheduler/Operational event log. This task indicates the task compatibility module has started. Then verify that Task Scheduler 1.0 tasks are registered and run correctly.

To verify that event 700 is in the Event Viewer:

1. Click the Start button and type Event Viewer in the Start Search box.

2. Select the Event Viewer program to start Event Viewer.

3. Locate the Microsoft-Windows-TaskScheduler/Operational event log by expanding the Applications and Services Logs folder, expanding the Microsoft folder, expanding theWindows folder, expanding the TaskScheduler folder, and then clicking the Operational event log.

4. Verify that event 700 has been logged in the event log.

To verify that Task Scheduler 1.0 tasks are registered and run correctly:

1. Click the Start button and type Task Scheduler in the Start Search box.

2. Select the Task Scheduler program to start Task Scheduler.

3. Click the Create Task action in Task Scheduler.

4. On the General tab, set the Configure for box to Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 2000. This configures the task to be a Task Scheduler 1.0 task.

5. On the General tab, specify a name for the task. On the Actions tab, specify an action for the task. On the Triggers tab, click New, and define a trigger for the task. For more information about triggers and actions, see the Task Scheduler online Help at http://go.microsoft....k/?LinkId=92609.

6. Click OK.

7. Verify that no errors are reported when the task is created by selecting the newly created task and then clicking the History tab. Verify that it does not show any partial registration failures for the task.

Hello lkkaMouse,

Download then run Windows Repair (All In One) which you will find here

Please disregard the malware guidance that is included there but do follow every other step to the letter and most notably creating a new restore point and performing a proper clean boot before running repairs, those details here

Let us know how you get on.

There are errors that AIO has not been able to correct so I suggest that you do a repair installation of the OS, you will not lose any personal data in the process.

That is unfortunate as the product key is licensed to the company that you previously worked for and once you ceased to be in their employment you should have obtained your own product key and re registered Windows with Microsoft, this because it is a volume licence key that is in use on multiple company machines, had it been an individual product key you could with the companies permission continue to use it.

You do not need a product key to download and use a Windows ISO to repair or reinstall the OS but you will need to reactivate Windows within 30 days should you do a fresh installation.

This from what you have told us;

Probelm is i have corperate licence that is activated by phone .

Since i do not work for that company anymore i do not have the license key .

This suggests to anyone that reads the information that you have provided that you are knowingly using a software licence that you are not permitted to
  • Please download WVCheck by Artellos from one of the mirrors below;

    Artellos.com (exe)
    Artellos.com (zip)

  • After the download, run WVCheck.exe
  • As indicated by the prompt, This program can take a while depending on your hard drive space.
  • Once the program is done, copy the contents of the notepad file as a reply.

So i assume i am permitted to use the license which is on it .

Your OS looks fine but to cover yourself I would speak to a Microsoft advisor and explain that you have purchased the computer complete with OS but have been advised to check that the purchase of the OS product key in use on the HDD was allowed to be included in the sale.

Alternatively, if you have a purchase invoice for the computer it is worth checking to see if it details what exactly you purchased as in the brand and model name or number of the computer and the OS that is on the HDD, alternatively contact the company and ask for written confirmation of the exact computer and OS details.

As an asides, when companies sell on computers they normally remove the HDD + larger companies often have their software specifically written/modified, this may include additional data included in the program and vice versa a more condensed version that does not contain all of the features that a full version of the software has, Enterprise is one such software that Microsoft provides Software Assurances to large companies who purchase through the the VLK.

You can btw find the product key that is in use on the computer using The Magical Jelly Bean (free) key finder, once you have confirmed that it is safe to use.
