I have run all the microsoft fixes but nothing has worked. Updating the driver fails because driver does not need updating, or so it says. I was directed to the USA Microsoft support site, and got as far as putting in my Windows 7 product number - only to get the message   ' we do not offer this service to the country selected'

I suspect it is due to the 15 microsoft updates to windows 7 that I recieved a couple of days ago - but how do you overcome a problem caused by an update from the manufacturer ??

Any advice will be very gratefully received.

Hello Bruce42,

Go to Start > Control Panel > Programs > View installed updates > Highlight the suspect updates > Uninstall them.

See how the computer behaves, if all is well try installing the updates manually one at a time to see if you either identify a problem update or if they all install without issue.
