Hi can someone please help me I don't know what to do next as I've searched Google without any joy.  If I try and download anything and do a Save Image As it brings up the Save As box in which folder I want to save my download in I then SAVE it.  It downloads and in the tool bar the download then says Failed - System busy what do I do? When I check out my download folder the message reads Your computer is doing too many things right now.  Try again later.

I've tried later it still doesn't work and I've tried downloads from different sources and none of them work.  I need to download items for my work it's very frustrating and know one seems to be able to help me!!! It was working ok until we had a power black out on Sunday evening and my computer reset everything to factor default can someone please help me as I don't know what to do next .Please help.

Hello can you please tell me which browser that you are using? Also does this happen in safemode? If you are able to download in safemode can you please download this file and post so I can see what is going on.  Since this is xp you may need to update your version of internet explorer which can be done in safemode with networking.

Can you use another browser to see if you are able to do anything? Also did you try in safemode with networking?

Hi Rockmilk, well I tried to use another browser eg Firefox which I had to download and run, but my computer wouldn't let me download it I got the same error message Failed - System busy.  Thought I would reinstall Explorer as I don't really use it, I had an older version but again it wouldn't let me reinstall, again  Failed - System busy and of course XP is also out of date.  Grabbed my son's laptop and had a look at the internet security settings in the control panel all the setting were the same as what I was running.  So what now where do I go from here?  Do I take it into a computer Geek who might be able to help me.  I hate taking my machine into them as they never feel the same after woulds there has always been changes made.  Looking forward to your reply.

Hello, I have had another member contact me and they suggest to create a new account.  https://www.microsof...r.mspx?mfr=true

Make sure and make the user an admin account.  Also if you are having the same issue with the new account,  then check safemode with networking.
