I recently shut my fx6000 down and when i tried to turn it back on it wouldnt turn on. I ended up replacing the power supply and it worked. however now everytime i shut my computer down it wont start. but if i remove the battery on the motherboard for a few seconds it turns back on. it doesnt have any issues if i just restart it instead of shutting down.

Just an honest question: Have you tried replacing the battery on the motherboard with a new one?

Did you replace the battery before or after you replaced the power supply?

Seems like there's something in the CMOS that needs to be reset every time you start the computer.  Might be a good idea to take a look at any power settings in your BIOS.  What settings are available to you there?
