Hello -

I have a Lenovo Y510 laptop, and I have a problem with regards to * running * Star Trek Armada II.  The OS is Windows 8.  I have installed the software successfully (I believe), however whenever I try to launch the game, I get a generalized 'pop up' stating that I need 50 megabytes of free hard drive space to run it, and that the virtual memory needs to be active.

Being this laptop is essentially new, there is plenty of free space.  I've checked -- best of my ability -- to be sure the virtual memory is in fact active.   I have been reading reviews that the Y510 is being shipped to people with the virtual memory disabled --- why, I don't know.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can go about playing this game?  I've got a screen shot of the pop up I keep getting.  Thank you for the suggestions!
