Hi,

Just bought an Acer Aspire E15 and have been setting it up today and managed to get connected to the internet through the wi-fi however I have noticed that the wifi keeps dropping and leaves me with noting and then I have to manually go in and select the router again. I looked this up and was told to change the power management settings and did so and am still have the same problem. I also updated the driver and again am still having the problem. Also tried ipconfig /flushdns and again the problem persists!!

Please can someone help me!!!

Flush DNS
Reset FF proxy Settings
Reset Ie Proxy Settings
Report IE Proxy Settings
Report FF Proxy Settings
List content of Hosts
List IP configuration
List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer log
List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size
List Devices (problems only)

Remove AVG 2015 Reboot.

Run the removal tool.

Reboot again.

Set your dns to open or google dns.

How to change DNS server.

Make sure and flush the DNS as suggested.

Disable windows defender.

I suggest a lighter AV such as 360 Total Security

Have removed AVG and am now trying to Disable Windows Defender but when I am in Services (Local) and I right click on Windows Defender Network or Windows Defender Services it does allow me to change the Startup Type to Disable. It just says Manual??

Also when using the Command prompt to change dns I typed in ipconfig /registerdns

C:\Users\user\ipconfig /registerdns

The requested operation requires elevation

Ok so I have completed all that and i have installed the 360TS AV.

My internet connected but my issue still remains!!!
