It very slow and took an age to load anything and has been cutting out saying I'm not connected to the internet!

Also did this machine have mcafee preinstalled? Did you run the AVG removal tool as suggested?

I have both my old and new laptop up and running and if I try and go on a website on my new laptop its taking forever to load and is coming up with internet not working and then moves on to internet cannot connect page and then finally onto the website but yet my other laptop is fine.

Go ahead and remove 360 total security we will not have a security program on it till we figure the internet issue. After you remove 360 reboot and run minitoolbox again.

Seems like it should be how is the machine running? Is it slow or just internet? Is it just one browser or all? Does internet run fine in safemode with networking?

To me the machine is running slow but that could just be because I have been so used to Windows 7 that its me thats slow! When on the internet it is so so slow compared to my old computer which I am still working of! I haven't tried running the internet in safemode with networking. To be honest with you I am now regretting buying the computer and am debating whether to take it back as I have now had it 2 days and still haven't been able to do anything on it!

Sorry the laptop is installing 23 update on number 6 now!

I personally dislike windows 8 ............ The last log you provided looked perfect, looking at it I could see no reason for any internet issue...... We will see how the next log looks........
