Chris66t,

:welcome:

Does not look like your system may meet the specs for this NVIDIA Card GeForce GTX 750  http://www.geforce.c.../specifications

Sytem specs shown here http://www.dell.com/...nspiron-530s/pd Make sure has PCI-E Express 3.0 or 2.0 slot, this card would be backwards compatible with PCI-E 2.0 since it is 3.0. One reason being the wattage of Power Supply with this Dell is only 250W, this card needing a 300W minimum PSU.

Need to always check system requirements of Card before purchasing, that it meets your system specs. Believe this is some of the reasons why it is not working.Always try make sure it is seated properly in slot again, by removing and putting it back in,not sure chances in BIOS may need disable on onboard card, but most of time this is not needed to do.
