Hi snash1039,
Welcome to G2G. If you know what model of NVIDIA card, PCI, AGP, or PCIe variation, then you can go here and enter the specifics of your discrete card here: http://www.nvidia.co...aspx?lang=en-us
A free copy of Belarc Advisor can be gotten here if you do not know your system specs offhand: http://www.belarc.co...e_download.html
Of interest to you would be the video card information. It should include the version of the current graphics driver. You can print it out if you have a printer available or you can save it as an html file to read it later.
Otherwise, run the native NVIDIA software to see the current version installed.
IMPORTANT: Create a manual restore point before installing a new video driver and name it something like NVIDIA install. Or create a disk image first before proceeding. The latter is your best protection against disaster.

i take it you are talking about nvidia video cards, and not "card readers" which are storage devices.
latest driver i believe is 347.09 but the latest driver good for you depends on what nvidia card you have.
eg. for a gtx 295 video card the latest driver is 340.52.
you should have been able to find the latest driver for your hardware by following the advice and links in mchain's post.
if your still having problems locating the latest tho, just tell us what nvidia graphics card you have in your laptop/pc and the we can find out for you.

OR:
Scroll down to the last post by Steve Warwickshire to see if KB3004394 issued last month is your issue and you meant a 'smart card': http://answers.micro...m=1421561212770
Guessing here. Not enough information in your first post, nor the second. What is this card used for?
