You need to go to Windows Updates and get all of your updates.  Normally on a new install you will get around 100 and you have none.

Uninstall MSE and leave it off.  Do not make changes until we are done.  MSE is running a scan at boot and finding AutoKMS.  You need to uninstall MSE:

http://answers.micro...ba-28ebd45c0838

and remove AutoKMS as we can not support pirated software.

It would be better to stick with Titanium or switch to the free Avast.  MS has backburnered MSE and is using a beefed up version of Windows defender for Win 8 so it's going down hill fast.

Right click on Computer and select Manage then Services and Applications then Services.  Find Windows Driver Foundation and right click on it and select Properties.  Change the Startup Type from Manual to Automatic.  OK.

Right click on (My) Computer and select Manage (Continue) Then click on the arrow in front of Event Viewer. Next Click on the arrow in front of Windows Logs Right click on System and Clear Log, Clear. Repeat for Application.

Reboot.

Run VEW for system and applications as before and post the logs.

Still waiting for the ntbtlog.txt

I'm leaving on a trip in a few minutes.  Will not be on line until later this evening.

there has not been any new installation of Win7 as yet/

windows updates are todate, but now also note that history of updates is empty, probably caused by one of  the cleaning programs-

installed updates as in PROGRAMS as from 31/12/2011 date of installing win7

latest search for updates according to windows updat today 07.43

now installing latest update NET  framework

was not aware of autoKMS

no change in performance- still hanging on windows logo  about 3-4 minutes, then desktop appears.

eventually slow starting of programs and after some 15 minutes all seems to be back to normal.-

running investing programs with live streaming data, some 20 graphs, unproblematic once machine is up and running
