Hi Mowpar,
Which error recovery page is it? Is it the Windows did not shut down properly, or some other error mentioned?
Till you get back to us, First thing you can try is a system file check.
Click the start orb and then type in the search bar
cmd.exe
You should see a small black icon and cmd.exe at the top of the small search page. Do not ordinary click on it, you must right click on it and then click on "Run as Administrator"
The User account control panel should open asking if you wish the program to make changes etc, click yes to continue.
The black background "Administrator:C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe" window should open with a white - flashing, type in
sfc /scannow
(Note the space between sfc and the / )
Click the enter key on the keyboard, let it do its thing.
If once it has run it says it found but could not repair some files, repeat the process and let it run again at least three times, if it still reports it cannot repair files let us know please.

Launch start up repair or start windows normally, are the options on the first page that shows up, if i opt to start windows normally it boots as it should have, going to the dell circle, windows logo then home page or desk top. If i do not choose anything and just let it go it goes through start up repair then to system restore this route does nothing and fixes nothing.
I will now try to follow steps given me and see what results are.
Ran test three times with the same results, Windows resourse protection did not find any integrity
violations.

I stopped when I saw you say you were seeking help elsewhere. I also remember you losing patience on another site.
As Aura stated we are unpaid volunteers and cannot be here all the time, add to that I have building work going on so my time is restricted at the moment.
I hope you have good results on BC, but bear in mind the helpers there are also volunteers.

I will try anothet help site
I don't see much reason to have a forum set up to help people that does not help people, I guess that is why the readership here has fallen so low, and just fell by one more.
Sorry that you feel this way mowpar (hayseed on some other forums) but as explained above we are all volunteers here from many different parts of the world and time zones and this can unfortunately lead to delays between replies on occasion, that said if you continue to post on forums and continually abandon your threads you will find that no one will ever respond to your OP and you will need to pay for the services of a local computer tech or tech service, the spirit of GTG and many other forums is to help you avoid the latter so please do not abuse this free service.

I'm closing this thread. If you would like help, then please post on one forum and let those people help you. If you ask for help on multiple forums, you'll get conflicting replies, plus you'll find that people helping you on one site won't help on the other. Please don't waste our time in this way.
