:tazz: I MADE A COMPUTER IN 2002 AND DID A BACKUP WITH GHOST 12-6-03,LAST MOUNTH I DROPED IT (DONT ASK) SO I MADE ANOTHER, USING THE SAME HARD DRIVE,WELL IT RAN AWSUME EXCEPT FOR MY UPDATES,(I COULDNT GET THEM)I MESSED WITH IT FOR A WHILE AND DECIDED TO RUN MY GHOST RECOVERY I MADE,GOT TO THE LAST CD AND IT LOCKED UP, THEN WE HADE A STORM AND THE POWER SHUT OFF! NOW ALL IT DOES IS TRY TO LOAD UP WINDOWS BUT FAILS,AND NO SOFTWARE WILL WORK (GHOST,XP.P,SYSTEM SUITE 4,FIX IT UTILLITY,NORTON SYSTEM WORKS 2003) ;)

I WORK NEXT TO A SAAB MAN VERY COOL CARS WISH I COULD AFORD ONE. ANYWAYS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT I DID AND HOW TO FIX IT!

You mean you dropped your pc? If that's the case, I would try attaching another Hard Drive to your motherboard and try booting up and installing everything you need (drivers, OS, updates programs etc.)

hope that'll work.

btw, glad you like saabs, I love them too. my mom drives a 2003 saab 93 se convertible ;) . I am only 13 so i cant drive.... :tazz:

Maybe its a physical problem. Check that everything is connected on your pc. Like ram / hd / motherboard ecc.


Since your explanation wasn't very clear im only assuming this is the problem. ;)

Ok forget the long SAAB story, I restored my system (DID NOT DROP IT)(NO DAMAGE TO THE HARDWARE WAS DONE) with ghost and before it could finish it locked up, then i turned it off and now it wont start up.i think the hard drive was erased and only half was installed but why wont it boot up with any cds

You said it loads up Windows and fails... when does it fail?

Can you boot into safe mode?

it shows some files loading like system 32 and then restarts
