My computer has been ill lately. His vitals are OK (no high temperature or anything). His antivirus protection is up to date and he is also regularly debugged and dewormed.
At times, out of a sudden, his screen starts violently flickering, forcing restart through power shutdown. Disk is OK. After forced shutdown, he starts fine, checkdisk does not show any error (except for the forced shutdown). Graphic card does not seem to be affected. It is behind power surge protector at all times.
Video of the event and log can be accessed below:

Astonishingly enough, the events occur in a non-progressive manner. After a peak last summer (up to 11 times a day) the incidents stopped for about 2 months. Then reappeared, with lower frequency.
Isolated incidents: second laptop and phone showed the same error. Both laptops are connected to the same router. Typically just ASUS crashes and the other one is unaffected.
On one occassion I received physical jolt when the incident occured. I was not touching the laptop, only a plastic keyboard, and the jolt appeared to have come from outside. This was not reproduced.

Any ideas?
Has anyone here have experience with personal computers jammed this way?
Would you suspect disruptive equipment?
