Then you could always try free data recovery software to restore the deleted Chrome history file, but there's no guarantee that it will work, nor that any file will be found. Personally, the three free data recovery software I use are Recuva (from Piriform), EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard (from EaseUS) and GetDataBackNTFS. So I would give Recuva and EaseUS a try first and see what they can find. The file is called "history" (I don't know the extension) and under Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1 it's located in
C:\Users\$USERNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default.
