Hello ripo66,

Both cards are compatible, the NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500 256MB is a workstation card, the GT630 is a more modern card, has more VRam, is faster but only 128-bit, both require a minimum of a 350W PSU, what do you have.

Hello ripo66,

Workstation vs gaming cards - difference(s)?

PSU = power supply unit.

Never heard of JTC PSUs (a bad sign).

The more bits a video card has the better the video/gaming quality.

256MB is the amount of video memory the card has and video card bits are explained here

No need for any apologies and you are welcome btw  :)

Hello ripo66,

For your intended use the GT 630 is more appropriate.
