help! I hope this is the right forum I recently got rid of some malware on my gateway netbook but now I'm having trouble connecting to the internet. I downloaded new drivers and was able to connect but once I disconnect from the internet I can't reconnect again. Trouble shooting shows no problems however the options it shows me only ethernet available until I download the drivers again from the zip file. Thanks for any suggestions anyone might have.

Are you sure you got rid of the malware? Did someone from this site walk you through the clean-up process?

What trouble-shooting did you do that you mentioned shows no problems?

I'm assuming you run Windows 7 on your netbook?
