No MBAM is free and it cleans for free, if you already have a copy then update it and then run

OK lets reset IE

First export your favourites to your desktop:

1.Start Internet Explorer.
2.On the File menu, click Import and Export, and then click Next.
3.Click Export Favorites and then click Next.
4.Click Favorites and then click Next.
5.Type the name of the file that you want to export the favorites to.

Then go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced tab
Click Reset

Reboot and then try a download again

just curious what is the purpose of this step ?

First export your favourites to your desktop:

1.Start Internet Explorer.
2.On the File menu, click Import and Export, and then click Next.
3.Click Export Favorites and then click Next.
4.Click Favorites and then click Next.
5.Type the name of the file that you want to export the favorites to.

i have pictures on in my pictures folder that i upload onto ebay.

ebay had a 'classic uploaded' that worked instead of their new one.   so i think im good there anyways.

thx

This will hopefully repair the download problem that you are experiencing. Backing up favourites is just a safety move
