hi all,

can anyone please help with the removal of the very large  'welcome to spotify' picture on the opening page of their website.

i am using a 10 inch screen netbook and the picture obscures the main function buttons.

You cannot really remove explicitly content from a webpage if its been included in it. What I suggest you to do as an alternative however, is to install an Adblocker web extension on your browser, and add a rule for that "Welcome to Spotify" image. This way, when you go on the website, your Adblocker will block the image, "removing" it from your sight. How does that sound?

i installed the adblocker .............spotify picture still a problem.

 

i tried uninstalling/re-installing........not a  solution.

Did you manually add that image as content to be blocked by the Adblocker or not?

i am not exactly sure how to do this.................do i simply insert 'welcome to spotify' in the filter box?

Alright, now give me the exact URL (link) where you have the "Welcome to Spotify" that you want to block.

there is no link visible......the very large ' welcome to spotify ' picture is in the way.

When I go on Spotify main website, this is what I get, is that the page?

no.......the first page is 'log in' then the offending picture page.

i did not log out of spotify as normal and when i tried again  later the picture appeared first and was responsive to curser activity and was removed by xing it out.?????
