This problem started two days ago. Possibly as a result of downloading an Mp3 track from Overnet. It began with the Aurora pop-up. The usual AV scans, AdAware, spybot etc were not fixing the problem and I was directed here by some one. I used the Aurora fix and that worked a treat. However I have a further major problem with I.E. when i start it up it takes a good 3 or 4 minutes to start and then it constantly tries to load a site called bigtrafficnetwork. The site does not load and It is like someone is repeatedly pressing re-fresh. That means I can't access any of the tools etc. once I have tried to run I.E in this way I can no longer access the net with other applications such as O.E or Firefox.

At the moment I can only access the internet in safe mode.

The other problems I was getting between getting rid of Aurora and the current problem were:-

-when carrying out a google search another I.E window was opening with a different search engine showing results for whatever it was i was searching for. (google was still open behind it)

-Web pages were scattered with links on key-words. the text was green and when I hovered the pointer over the lower address bar said 'SPONSORED LINK'

I have carried out all the fixes required before posting a Hijack This log. However I cant seem to get the windows update to work. I do have my windows update on automatic though and I beleive it is up to date.

A big thanks for the help the site has given so far and for any advice that can be given for this problem.
