I just had a netgear router that I've had for a while suddenly quit working. The wifi signal on my phone and my tablet would show an arrow with both an arrow pointing up and down when connected then suddenly id lose connection on the device. When it disconnected it only showed wifi arrow pointing up. I just bought a new one and now its only letting certain devices connect. My tablet keeps telling me authentication problem. Please help

What OS is on the device(s)?

Does powering the device off and on (or turning airplane mode on and off) fix the connection, even temporarily?
