Hi Guys,
Im having the wierdest thing happening to me, I have 1.5Mb Broadband and I am using Windows XP Pro and D-Link Wireless ADSL Router, I can access any site on the net, but one, I know it is functional cause I can access it from any other location, the site is www.razortrader.com.au, I get an DNS error when I try to access it using IE, Opera or Firefox and I cant ping it but I can tracert it. I have deleted browser cache/temp/cookies, reset my router, flush the DNS to not avail.

Does any one have any ideas on why I cant access it and how I can acccess it, I have tried numerous things but I am out of ideas, and I may have just missed the simpliest thing but I dont know.

I'd appriciate any help and if you need any more information about my machine, jsut say so.

Thanks

Looks like The Planet (the data center where the server for that site is located) is having network issues. I would forward this information to [email protected] so they can work with their host, or directly with The Planet to get it resolved.

It seems a few data centers are having network issues this weekend -- strange.

P.S. It works for me. :tazz:

Edit: There's also the possibility that the webmaster has blocked an IP range, yours included. ;)

Hi,

Thanks again for the reply, I have already been into contact with the webmaster and he has no idea what is goin on, the issues been for teh past 3 weeks, at first i thought the site was down but only the other day I found that it was up and can be accessed from any other location, I have also disccussed the possibility of the blocked ip range, and both the webmaster and host does not ahve any ranges blocked.

I do not believe it to be an issue with my machine, as even after formatting I have the same problem and I may be my router, but the problem still occurs after going back to defaults, I am rally stuck for ideas, is ther any thing else you could suggest for me to check out?

Thanks

It's definitely not a problem on your end. Too bad the webmaster doesn't seem to be much help. :tazz:

Just wondering, is there like a site that has a built in browser or somethign, where I can look up a page (ie: The one I cant access) and it doesent actually go over the net to my machine, but another server, where it is then transfered to me from that location. Does that make any sense?

Any reply would be appriciated.

Thanks

There are ways you could access that site, but since we don't know what your intentions are, it would be irresponsible of us to help.

You are being blocked from accessing that site, either by design, or by accident. If the webmaster isn't willing to help you regain access, I'm afraid there's not much we can do.

Mate, my intentions are to access the site so i can continue being a community member and continue being a respected trader on the site.
I know I have not been blocked and I have spoken to the webmaster, he has no idea on whats goin on, he has posted a thread on the forum about the fact that I cannot access the site as to see if other use4rs are having the same issue.
I mean i access this site from another location and I am a reqular member on there forum (Username: ITZ Computers) In fact the site owner and designer has just brought an item off me that I listed, it is just frustrating I have to go to an internet cafe or other location to access, the site cause my business computers cant access it.

And I would still appriciate any help..... If you are willing to give it

Well, here's an easy one. Go here: http://checkip.dyndns.org/

Note your IP address. I assume you're using DSL or cable. Shut your system down, power off your modem and/or router. After they power back up, reboot your system. Unless you have a static IP address, your IP should be different, check here again: http://checkip.dyndns.org/

If you're IP changed, you may be able to access the site again. Let me know how that goes.
