Can I remove Microsoft Office starter 2010 and not affect the Microsoft Office 2007 that is installed on my computer?

Yes, it's entirely possible to uninstall Microsoft Office Starter 2010 without damaging the current Office 2007 installation. However, if you uninstall an Office component when you have two version of Office installed on your system, Microsoft recommend to run an installation repair on the remaining Office product after the uninstallation. To run a repair, right-click on the Microsoft Office 2007 in the list of installed programs, select Modify then make sure that Repair is checked and run it. A restart will be asked after the operation.
