hi i have just replaced a working hard drive, in a asus eee pc 1005ha,,,, problem is,,hard drive not working at all and have no boot screen just black, tryed f2 no luck, all worked fine before hard drive was replaced, have tryed drive in another asus same model and all works ok. any help would be grateful

Hi setto

 

Does the computer post? When you turn it on do you get the bios screen?

Before you decided to change hard drives what was the problem?

hi thanks for returning my post, wen turning on all i get is a black screen, so cannot see a bios post, i change hard drive for a bigger one for more mem hope this helps ps. have also tryed a external monitor but still the same......
