Hello,

It's better to print out the next instructions or save it in notepad, because you also have to work in safe mode without networking support, so this page wouldn't be available then.
It is also important you don't miss a step and perform everything in the right order!!
I'll let you perform things you already performed, but it is important you perform it again in the right order!!

* Download and install CCleaner
Do not use it yet.

Please set your system to show all files.
Click Start.
Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.

* Reboot into Safe Mode`: !! really important otherwise this wont make sense and wont work !!!!
°To get into the Safe mode as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key". Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

* Open the nailfix-folder you already downloaded earlier and doubleclick on nailfix.cmd. <== don't forget this step!!
Your taskbar and icons will disappear for a couple of seconds, that is normal.

Start hijackthis and click scan. Don't start to fix things in it yet!!, first I'll have you delete the files manually.
The reason why i ask you to scan with hijackthis is that you will see what the random named exe is in the O4-line, you'll recognise it with the r at the end, the one that changes everytime, so you can search for it first in your system32-folder.
Leave your hijackthis open in a meanwhile.

* Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files and delete them if still present:

C:\WINDOWS\systb.dll
C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe
c:\windows\system32\xxxxx.exe <== this is the file you had to recognise in hijackthis to delete manually.

* Now, we are going to fix in hijackthis after deleting those files manually.
Place a check against each of the following:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [mcwohg] c:\windows\system32\vlsmuux.exe r
O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

* Run Ccleaner and click Run Cleaner (bottom right)

* Still in safe mode; Perform a full scan with ewido.
Let it delete everything it is finding.
When finished, you'll get the option to make a log.
Save this log, because I'll need that later.

* Reboot your system back to normal mode.

Download Findit
Unzip it to your desktop. Make sure the FindIt's.bat and XFind.com are together in the same UNZIPPED folder!
Disconnect from the internet, if you use an always on internet connection unplug it.
Let your PC be idle for 15 minutes !!

Doubleclick FindIt's.bat. When the scan is done, it will produce a log.
If you're getting an error while running findit's.bat similar like: ''C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. choose close to terminate the application..", go to next site and download and run the fix for your system:
http://www.tech-foru...opic/29806.html
Try to run findit's again afterwards.
Post that log in your next reply together with a fresh HijackThis log and the log from ewido and I'll take another look.

If you had any problems with deleting files or noticed any other problems during your fix, let me also know in your next reply.

I was unable to delete the changing file

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lydmqy] c:\windows\system32\abggdx.exe r

I was given the error message: the file is in use and can not be used

Ewido found nothing

Hi,

A question first, if you boot in safe mode, I assume you use the option without networking support? It seems like that file is really active in safe mode.
Also, did you scan with ewido in safe mode, because that is really important and I really need the log from that.

Anyway, let's try it a littlebit different..

* Download Killbox.
Unzip it and Click killbox.exe.
Select the option "Delete on reboot".

Now copy the next bold:

C:\WINDOWS\NGVLPX~1.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\System32\DRPMON.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\SVCPROC.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\TDTB.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
C:\WINDOWS\systb.dll
C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe

Open 'file' in the killboxmenu on top and choose Paste from clipboard

Now you will see, this is pasted in the "Full Path of File to Delete"-field.
There's a little arrow (dropdown-arrow) next to that field.
If you expand it, these lines must be there together if the files are present!

Then press the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it.
Killbox will tell you that all listed files will be deleted on next reboot.. Click YES
When it asks if you would like to Reboot now, click NO!
Leave your killbox open, and open your hijackthis, let it scan but don't fix anything in it!! Look at the file that is in there that renames all the time.
Now go to killbox again and in the full path of file to delete, write:

C:\Windows\system32\XXXX.exe <== fill here the name of the random file in!

Then click the red button again and hijackthis will tell you that these files will be deleted on next reboot and if you want to reboot now. Click yes!
If you don't get that message, reboot manually.
Click No at the Pending Operations prompt.

Your computer must reboot now, but make sure you directly reboot in safe mode, so already start to tap F8 after after using killbox/rebooting.

When in safe mode, first run Ccleaner.
Then, run nailfix.
Then, run the ewidoscan and save the log!!!

Boot back in normal mode and fix next entries in hijackthis:

Also, I want to know what it is, so can you go to next site:
http://virusscan.jotti.org/

On top you'll find: File to upload and scan.
Now browse to the next files:

C:\WINDOWS\JAASTE.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\KB290333.DLL

Click submit and let it scan.
Post the results in your next reply together with a new hijackthislog.

Ok, can you test something?

Open killbox.
Look in your hijackthis what name the random O4 has.
Most probably it will still be c:\windows\system32\bxzyaia.exe
As long as you don't reboot or don't taskkill it, it will stay the same name.

Now, in your killbox, select: standard kill file
Select: 'end explorer shell while killing file'

Now in the full path to file-field, add c:\windows\system32\bxzyaia.exe (or whatever that file is named)
and click the red button.

Your icons, desktop and taskbar will disappear.
That is normal.
normally they will reload automatically again. When they do not after 5 minutes, open taskmanager (pressing ctrl-alt-del together) and choose new task and in the field, type explorer.

I want to know if you are getting errors after you clicked on that red button to delete.
If it says, file deleted or, file could not get deleted.

Uuuh, did you really check the 'end explorer shell while killing file'?

Anyway, post a new hijackthislog please.

LOL..

Hmm..

You already send me one of those files, but I forgot to turn off my antivirus when I was downloading my mail in my mailbox, so the antivirus killed the file.
Can you please send me that random file again? miekiemoesATbluemedicine.be (AT=@)

I'll play with it tonight and see what the best way is to kill it, because it seems even more stubborn than before.

Ok.. I found a way to torture it. :tazz:
It was hard, but I did it.
I reinstalled this 10 times now to torture it even more and more. ;)

It is really important you follow my steps in the right order!!
So better to save this in notepad or print this out.

Download this advanced processterminatortool: http://www.diamondcs...wnloads/apt.zip

Do not use it yet!!

Boot in safe mode!!

-In safe mode, run Ccleaner first.

-Run the nailfix again.

-Start apt.exe you downloaded before.
You'll see the running processes in it.
You'll also recognise the bad process there, the random one.
Now open your system32-folder and search for the bad file.
Leave your system32-folder open with the view on the bad file.
Don't delete that file yet, because it is running in your processes and wont get deleted as long it is running.
Now, in your apt, select the bad process and click kill3
Then, immediately delete that random file in your system32-folder, the one you just killed.
If that file is already gone in your system32-folder, that means it is already renamed, so, with your apt still open, select the bad one again and click again 'kill3'. Try to remember that name, because you will also have to delete it manually.
Sometimes it happens you'll see 2 random baddies in your apt in the processlist after pressing kill3, so select them and kill them again with kill3.

Sometimes it works in one flow, sometimes you have to perform this more than once.

If it isn't running in your processes. Look in your hijackthislog what the filename is and delete it.

Search and delete next files if still present:

C:\windows\ksgvet.exe
C:\Windows\nail.exe
C:\Windows\svcproc.exe
C:\Windows\system32\drpmon.dll
C:\windows\abiuninst.html

Also, look in your C:\windows if you can find an file (exe) with the icon of aurora and delete it.
This is how the icon looks like: Posted Image
Don't delete any other files that doesn't have that icon except for the ones I mentioned above.

Still in safe mode, start hijackthis and fix next lines if still present:

All R1's and R0's except the one with Yahoo in it
O2 - BHO: Band Class - {01F44A8A-8C97-4325-A378-76E68DC4AB2E} - C:\WINDOWS\systb.dll
F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [dipruv] c:\windows\system32\bxzyaia.exe r
<== that one will already have another name
O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe

Still in safe mode, run Ccleaner again.

Reboot back to normal mode and post a new hijackthislog.
