Hello Bruce42,

Have you tried any of the following troubleshooting tips?

The Microsoft FixIt may help automate the process for you.  Good luck!

Thanks Fusionbomb for the fix I did try it and it didn't work unfortunately.

I then went onto the Microsoft website for any other fixes or help they have on the page, and while I was browsing through I suddenly had a window pop up.  A Microsoft technician was on chat offering help. I explained the problem and was told that the problem was definitely in their software, so they were happy to offer their premium on line support at NO CHARGE.

They spent about an hour remotely going through my system and then ran very complicated fix that was running for about three hours. After that everything was back to perfect. I did at firs need to log in to my account on Microsoft to verify I was on a safe site etc etc But it all ended up well. THANK YOU MICROSOFT - what a service !!!!
