Hello!

I'm building my first gaming PC! All I would be doing on my PC is streaming on Twitch with OBS and playing lots of games like Minecraft (Modded), Counter Strike: Global Offensive, H1Z1, Garry's Mod, etc.

So if someone could help me and tell me if the specs that I'm putting into my PC are good enough for those things that would be great!

My PC Specs:

1. Case: NZXT Phantom ATX Full Tower
2. CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K Quad 3.5GHz
3. CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
4. MOBO: ASUS Maximus VI Hero
5. RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 8GB DDR3 2400 MHz
6. SSD: Samsung 850 EVO
7. HDD: WD Black 1TB 7200 RPM
8. PSU: Corsair CS750M 750W 80+ Gold
9. Graphics: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970

Please let me know if I need to change/fix anything in this build or if it is a good build.

Thanks!

:welcome: Vinny.

It is a good build and is listed below so you have some idea of cost.   If you live in the US, please give your zip code as some stores do specials on pick up only parts.

You have not included a OS or optical drive.

What monitor will you be using? brand/model please.

FYI.   The cooler that is supplied with the CPU is more than capable of keeping the temps within the specified limits providing the case has good air flow, further, if you use a different cooling solution different from the supplied stock one, you will void your 3 years warranty and should you need to make a claim for a replacement CPU under the warranty and Intel or AMD become aware of that fact, your claim could be denied.  Try using the stock cooler first, if not satisfied, use an aftermarket one, but this would be at your own risk.

There are lots of cases, is this the model you want?

The build could be tweaked, change a couple of parts to give more balance.   Let us know what your think

Sorry for the delay in response.

Your link to the DVD drive not working, included one in the builds.   Let us know if the case selected is the one you want.

RAM. changed, speed of the RAM is via the controller on the CPU and the native supported is DDR3 1600, any speed over that would mean setting up manually, including the voltage. and the benefits only show up in benchmark tests.

Mother board is over the top, really meant for extreme overclocking, changed, will still give you the same performance.

Monitors. you will not get the best performance Using mediocre ones when coupled with a high end GPU/CPU, so changed, 144Hz refresh rate, > http://asusmonitorre...gaming-monitors

PSU changed, more than enough power + has 7 years warrant, > http://www.newegg.co...ID=3938566&SID=

Comparison of parts, not pricing, > http://www.newegg.co...132-118:$$$$$$$

Original build with OS, optical drive and your selected 2 x Asus VS248H-P added, >http://pcpartpicker.com/p/QZ4Tqs   $1765.75

Please consider this build which I assure you will perform better than the original, >  http://pcpartpicker.com/p/4fJdzy   $1757.60

Take as long as you like to reply. It's ok.

And yes that is the correct case but I would like it in the white/red/black color please :)

But anyways, thanks so much for the feedback!

Now...

Just one more thing...

If it's not to much to ask could you put together my PC with all the updated parts that you suggested and the parts that were unchanged on pcpartpicker.com

That would be great,

Thank you :)

Never mind what I just said. I'm dumb. I just saw the link on pcpartpicker.com.

But I did want the white/red/black case not just black.

Thanks for the help! :)

Hello!

I would like someone to build me a gaming PC. I would like all the parts to create a PC, 2 monitors, a gaming keyboard, and a gaming mouse.

I am on a $1,500 budget.

So if someone could build me the best gaming PC possible with 2 monitors, a mouse, and a keyboard all in a $1,500 budget.

Thank you! :)

OK, easy to get confused with so many links.

Here are the available case colours, > http://www.nzxt.com/...tail/34-phantom

Here is the final list with the white/red case and your selected Optical Drive, > http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3CfzjX

If you want any other combination of parts, just let me know.

You are very welcome.

Couple of forum tips for you VinnyTheGamer,

Do not duplicate your topics as it may lead to you being offered the same guidance at differing times and lead to confusion as to which and whose guidance you are following.

If you have something to add while waiting for a reply use the edit tab – bottom right of the dialogue input box and this will ensure that no information that you provide is overlooked (this can happen if your topic has more than one page)  thank you for understanding.

The mouse and keyboard I have left off the list for now as it would be best if you had a local tech store that you could visit and try out anything that they may have, what suits one person will most likely not suit you, the mouse size and shape for example may not feel comfortable to you, you then have the hassle and cost of returning the items  :(

I wanted to duplicate the topics Phil. Why else would I do it if I didn't want to. I'll duplicate as many topics as I want.
