I'm building my first pc and my only ever pc and when I turn it on it won't make any noises... a light will appear for a second on the front of the pc but nothing else.. also sometimes when I plug my keyboard in It turns on... not sure if I plugged something in wrong or missed something I had to plug in, there are a few unused cabels.

Whay do you mean it won't make any noises?
Are you referring to the post test?

Is it outputting video to a monitor?

And when you plug your keyboard in, is a light on the keyboard coming that you are talking about?

:welcome: The Aqua Pig.

Please give a full list of all your parts, that's brand and model of everything including the PSU.

we need to check parts are compatible and be able to look at any relevant manuals.

Thanks.
