Hello. I have been experincing some problems here lately with my computer. Desktop, For the last few days i was getting a error code when trying to access geekstogo.com but today it went without any issues. the error that would happen before today it would be a white page and this would be the address in the url, ( geekstogo.com?PageSpeed=noscript ) I added  FlashBlock to my browser (Mozilla Firefox) and it helped out a little, But still having the Unresponsive page at times. I use Mozilla as everyday Browser sometimes Chrome as a 2nd Browser if needed. All of my components and programs are up to date so i have no clue on why my computer is acting like this..

  • Please download WVCheck by Artellos from one of the mirrors below;

    Artellos.com (exe)
    Artellos.com (zip)

  • After the download, run WVCheck.exe
  • As indicated by the prompt, This program can take a while depending on your hard drive space.
  • Once the program is done, copy the contents of the notepad file as a reply.

No problems showing there, btw the reason why the above was suggested was because no Windows 7 updates were listed in your last Speccy url, uninstall the MGADIAG Tool please then check that Windows 7 is fully updated then get back to us;

To check for Windows updates;
  1. Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33_818. In the search box, type Update, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.

  2. In the left pane, click Check for updates, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer.

  3. If you see a message telling you that important updates are available, or telling you to review important updates, click the message to view and select the important updates to install.

  4. In the list, click the important updates for more information. Select the check boxes for any updates that you want to install, and then click OK.

  5. Click Install updates.

    Read and accept the license terms, and then click Finish if the update requires it. 18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b_48. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Notes
  • If language packs are available, install only the languages that you use.

  • Some updates might require that you restart your computer to finish installing. Save and close all your programs before restarting to prevent data loss.

Above steps courtesy of MS.

Please Run the PCPitstop.com OverDrive Full Tests

Here's how:

You must use your Internet Explorer for this procedure. (doesn't work so well in Firefox or others). If your machine is running Vista or Windows 7, you must Select IE to “Run as Administrator”. After completing PCPitstop OverDrive you can close your IE browser and re-open it Normally so that you are no longer running as administrator.

Go to:  http://www.pcpitstop.com/betapit/default.asp

Click on "Free Computer Check-up" listed below PC Pitstop OverDrive
In the User Login - Click on "Sign up FREE!"
You'll need to submit a valid email address and create your own password, then click - Create Account(button)

Now enter your email address and password to Log in, Select - Scan this system Now!(button)
You will then be asked to download an ActiveX component and allow it to install.
It is safe and does not compromise your privacy.
Follow the on-screen prompts to install the ActiveX and to allow the Full Tests to be run on your machine.

The Full Tests take about 2 1/2 - 3 minutes on most machines.
When complete, a Results - Summary - Recommended Fixes will be displayed.

Please post the URL internet address, from your Results, back here into this Topic Thread so that we can review the configuration and present performance levels of your machine.

Note: During the graphics 2D and graphics 3D testing, your screen will display some rapidly moving objects.
If you are sensitive to visual flashing, it may cause dizziness. Therefore, look away from the screen during that portion of the testing.

After reviewing the results we will be more informed and may be able to provide better recommendations for you to work towards improving your machine's performance.

While PCPitstop does offer a variety of Paid Products, the PCPitstop OverDrive testing is FREE. Please ignore the references to Paid Products. We prefer to provide manual solution instructions that you can apply directly to your machine.

Thanks to rshaffer61 for the PCPitstop information.  :thumbsup:

NB: An example of the url that we require and the information that it leads to here

To help keep your computer secure all Important updates should be installed asap, leave the PCPitstop tests for now please and allow the computer to be fully updated first, any problems post back.

Tip

If you have something to add while waiting for a reply use the edit tab – bottom right of the dialogue input box and this will ensure that no information that you provide is overlooked (this can happen if your topic has more than one page)
