I had an attack of some vicious programs which were hijacking IE, also trojan horses and viruses. Horrible & scary.

However, I have now run all the software that you recommend against spyware etc. and computer seems back to normal. I'm now also using Firefox instead of IE.

Question is, how do I know if my computer is now safe enough to use internet banking?

And should I delete IE from my computer if I'm not using it?

Thanks!

Hi slappertravel and welcome to GeeksToGo!

You should not delete IE from your system as you will need it to download updates for windows ;)

If you are having malware issues, please got to the following site and follow all the instructions carefully.
