I'd appreciate help with removing the Look today toolbar. I can't get rid of it - even when using spyware. Eachtime I think I've got rid of it , it reappears resetting my IE home page, and adding to my favorites.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi bobble and welcome to g2g. <_<

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.mkuavarff...WqWGgUcmEQ.html
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://bpzgklhzrfeaf...8YLN/yxamLZ.jpg
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {467FB639-AF7D-EE07-42F6-F0D50D72418D} - C:\PROGRA~1\CAKECH~1\Poll Flaw.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Date Skip Gram Bend] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Less More Date Skip\About Blue.exe
(optional, but will improve system performance)
O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OSA.EXE

Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu).
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):
C:\PROGRAM FILES\CAKECH... <- this folder (name abbreviated)
C:\PROGRAM FILES\SOFTCA... <- this folder (name abbreviated)
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Less More Date Skip <- this folder

Reboot
your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and let us know how your system's working. <_<

I've done as suggested with only partial success. The toolbar has gone but my homepage looks like "about:home" which can be over written but comes back each time I log on. It doesn't seem to have got rid of folders which add them selves to IE favourites. Below is my latest Hijackthis log. Is there anything else that I can do??
