Dear All,
In the previous versions of Outlook 98. I used to be able to automatically add the email address of a new email directly when I am replying the email. But I cannot seem to be able to do it with 2000 and XP.

Your assistance will be greatly apprescited.

Regards
BHELE.

Thank you for your respose.
In short it must be posted into Contacts ( in Outlook).
With previous versions of Office (eg 98) once you have set this parameter is set on, it used to happen automatically.
With 2000 and XP, the setting is not there.
Your assitance is greatly appreciated.
Regards
Bhele.

by the look of it you can't
I know what you mean it was a check box that said something like
Add people I reply to my address book.
Now you have to
Open the e-mail message that contains the name you want to add to your contact list.

In the From field, right-click the name you want to make into a contact, and then click Add to Contacts on the shortcut menu.

Thank you again for the assitance .
Best Regards !
