I want to recover my photos and WhatsApp chat dated 2013 on Samsung Galaxy S2.I tried using Android Data Recovery Software but it only recovers data that is a week old. Is there any way i can recover my WhatsApp chats as well as pictures from back in 2013?

My knowledge of smart phones is a bit vague, but let's see if I can help in some way.

Not sure we will be able to access data from almost 3 years ago since it may have been over written, but I have had great success recovering data from an SD Card by using Recuva.

Are you able to go into settings and activate USB storage on the phone? I believe this setting will enable the device to display as a storage device on your computer. If this works, you will then be able to download Recuva to your computer and access the memory in that fashion.
