I purchased a refurb Dell WIN7 Pro.   I had to add Firefox and all I could find was the latest which is not acceptable as is.  How do I eradicate the automatic autofil on the url bar, if possible.  Also I am constantly having to x out the related searches boxes on the left.  Is there a way to fix this?

In the Firefox url bar type about:config click on I will be careful.

Scroll down the page till you get to this:  browser.urlbar.maxRichResults righjt mouse click on that line set the Value to 0.

That will stop all of the autofill junk, I cant help you on the other one as I am not sure where you are with that. Hope this helps you janis.
