Hello,
First, my problem is that my system freezes sometimes. You don't believe me how unlucky I am with this build. I just have problems. Firstly, the Asrock Board was damaged and now I have some other issues.

I have this build (with the new board MSI Z97 Gaming 5)for around 2-3 weeks now. Some time ago I had CoreTemp installed. Sometimes when I opened it, my system froze for 20-30 seconds (I couldn't do anything). Other programs worked well except Speedfan, it says that my CPU has 127 Celsius and other parts were also over 90 degrees (so they were just false positives of course).

Now, the system worked well now for two weeks. Since yesterday it began to freeze again! Yesterday when I tried to play BF4 it freezed. And now when I did surfing.

- Is the ASUS GTX 770 brand new? or did you had this one before with the Asrock Board?

- Do you have a good power supply with enough wattage for all the hardware?

- is the system running hot?

 

To start I would try to run the system using only the on-board Video and see if it makes any difference.

I ran a Prime 95 Small FFTs test for 4 hours, no errors. Yippieh. The temps also look good. (Max 72 Celsius). I have also tried Memtest and it passed one round without an error (1 hour 30 minutes test). I also checked all the SMART values of my both hard drives and they look good to me.

This would lead me to a software related problem.

It is an old GTX 770 which is more than 1 year old. The PSU should be enough: Coolermaster GX 550W Bronze
The System temps are quite good.

The problem is that it can be that it runs well for days without freezes. It just happens from time to time. It began two weeks ago. Then there were no freezes until yesterday and today. Now I don't get any freezes again.

It just happens from time to time.

Also, when playing games all the FPS are good. The max temp on every game I have is 62 degrees (Celsius). I didn't checked the Graphic cards temperature yet.

Can you run a full scan with Malwarebytes

 

The other day I helped someone with troubles running a full MBAM scan he always got a BSOD at the end of the heuristics scan! after many tests we found it was the Hard Disk controller, make sure you are running the most recent driver for the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver from Intel.

The normal scan with the option to check for rootkits seems to stress the access to the SSD. The heuristic scan is on by default.

 

What do you think about the results above?

 

Based on all the test you did they seems ok.

You should remove the MBAM log it's not allowed to post that on this section of the forum also the idea was only to check for some strange behavior when stressing the SDD access.

The SSD firmware description doesn't seems very important...

Gday.

Window inbuilt burner, In the Run box, copy and paste dvdmaker then click OK.

Burn ISO to disc, copy and paste, isoburn then click OK.

For both, advisable to tick the Verify Box.

 

Have a read about using Reliability monitor to see if you can spot the culprit causing the freeze..
