whenever i try to join servers in any game, i either get around 1000 ping which never goes down, or get playable ping but sudden spikes every now and then, and sometimes i even lose the internet connection completely. D:

Try doing a speed test --> http://www.speedtest.net/

After the test is done, click "Share my results" then go to URL and copy and paste the text.

Hmm... The stats look fine. Is this problem exclusively with video games, or does it happen with other network-enabled applications? I also need to ask the following: What game service are you using (ie. Steam, or running the games direct off the disc and what games does this occur on?

When I tab out while lagging ingame, the internet all laggy and stuff too, but I'm not sure if it has ever happened while not playing. And using steam, yes.

Hello Sigdoh,

It worked fine at one time?

How long has this issue been happening?

Had anything changed between when it worked fine and when you noticed the issue? (updated drivers, hardware/software installation, etc?)

Have you tried power cycling your modem/router?

^ I would definitely try this, if you haven't already.

1) Is this a wired or a wireless connection?

2) This is only happening on your computer? Other devices on the network seem to work fine?

3) What brand/model is your computer that you're experiencing the problems on?
