Yes, on the working computer.

I just need the name of the PSU, the model number and the Watts.

Sorry, can't tell from your pic.

The image at this link shows a Corsair PSU at the bottom left.   If yours is in that position, what is written on it?

My pc dosnt have an external cpu,its just a monitor, mouse, keyboard and a voltage regulator, the cpu is built in the monitor,i hope that makes any sense because the link you sent is what a cpu looks like to me
So is the psu in the pc?

my  apologies to you Elton as I mistakenly assumed that your working computer was a tower desktop one.   As it is an all in one it will not be possible to directly attach the broken HDD to the Mother board.

An option that may work to test the drive, would be to buy a USB to SATA cable like this, > http://www.walmart.c...torage/35118076

Did you contact support for the Laptop and order the recovery discs?

:D

yes i've always watched the topic, but i never actually click follow on any topic so i wouldn't show up in the following numbers. (first thing i always do when i log in is to check my content to see if any new posts have been made in a topic i've responded to.)

haven't made a reply because there was nothing i could add, so was content to let iammykyl continue alone until i could offer any help myself.
