Hello My name is Jarek,

I have a big problem with encrypted .jpg files (cant open it).

For example the name is:

 

"DSCN0323.JPG.id-8148947388_fudx@lycos"

 

I will be grateful for your help. This .jpg files are all my family photos.

Have you removed the malware?

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop. 

 

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer. 

click on the Addition.txt box. 

Press Scan button. 

It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.  

Please copy and paste that log back here and also the second log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST.exe/FRST64.exe). Please also paste that along with the FRST.txt into your reply. 

 

 

Your files can not be decrypted.  There is a faint possibility that you may be able to recover older versions of them if the malware is no longer active.  See:

Hello RKinner,

Yes I copy Infected files (jpg) on my USB portable disk.

And next I made format on my all disc on my laptop.

 

So, is there any chance to recover my photos ?

Sorry. No chance now. When you formatted the drive you lost the previous versions and shadow copies. Only NSA could decrypt them now.
