My version of Trend Micro Titanium Maximum Security 'sticks' at 24% when it encounters C:\Windows:nlsPreferences
After a bit of research - including the OTL.exe - it seems I have 2 files on my C: drive with alternate data streams.
C:\ProgramData\TEMP
and
C:\Windows
now I can delete the former ( and have done ) bit I'm sure I do NOT want to delete the latter.
So, why does C:\Windows have an alternate data stream of nlsPreferences, where is nlsPreferences to be found ( I cannot seem to locate it anywhere ) and how did C:\Windows obtain this attribute?
