The info highlighted in red suggests that there is a problem with the validation of Windows, there is a MS update for this which I have included below, if the update does not work or it will not install I feel that it would be prudent to seek the help of the GTG malware experts;

NB: There is no suggestion being made here that Windows is not legit only that it may have become corrupted.

It wouldn't install as it says it was installed already.

UPDATE!!!: I figured out how to uninstall the update and reinstall it.

The problem still exists. Nothing I've tried to date has solved the problem. It just did it again.

Please see the GTG malware redirection information below;

I suspect that you have some malware on your computer causing issues that we are not able to solve through means we can use here in the Tech Forums. I suggest you read the 'Start Here' topic found here. With these self-help tools you have a high chance of fixing the problems on your own. If you are still having problems after following Step 3 of the guide, continue with Step 4 and 5 and post in the Malware Forum. If you are unable to run any programs, Please create a topic stating what you have tried so far and that you are unable to run any programs. Also, Please do NOT post the logs in this thread.

If you are still having issues after the malware expert gives you a clean bill of health, Please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

I'll give it a try. I turned off the power setting to so that the screen only dims without turning off and haven't had the problem occur again. Will let you know what happens after following the steps you listed above.

Ran the steps listed above and posted a message on the malware board. The problem still hasn't reoccurred since disabling the feature to turn the screen off.

Well, I am malware and virus free. Found out that the issue appears to go away when I run a clean boot. I also had thought I narrowed it down to a few things in the my start-up/services list, but they issue just took awhile to reappear. Starting over and trying to narrow it down from scratch. Turned on those things that I need to have and left everything else off. Know in a couple days if this worked. Any other suggestions for narrowing it down?
