You are most welcome, ginnyjoe!

It sounds like you are using Firefox with the NoScript extension.  If so, you have to teach it with the pop-up Options menu button to allow sites you regularly visit.  It can be a little daunting to use at first, but the protection it provides is truly unparalleled.

When you see this, you normally will want to click on the Options button that appears, and if you've visited the site intentionally and trust it (e.g. GeeksToGo.com), you can usually allow the whole domain by default by clicking on "Allow GeeksToGo.com".  In my below image, it would be the "Allow tagyerit.com" line.   Some sites will detect that your browser is not running scripts (JavaScript mostly), and either tell you or load a different version of a page you are on because of this.

Sometimes you want to allow just a certain page you are on, in which case you can use the "Allow all this page" menu item.  The key is to allow only what you trust.  :)

In the Options menu, I usually select these options (Reload the current tab only, Allow sites opened through bookmarks):

But be absolutely sure you trust all of the sites in your bookmarks if you do set the bookmarks option!

I understand that it's not for everyone, but I'm sure that the more you use it, and realize how much scripted content is sent to your computer without your knowledge, it will become easier and more intuitive to use.  I would recommend trying it for 2 weeks, at which point you can uninstall it if you just can't stand it... :P

More information about the NoScript extension is on their site.

In the end, it's up to you.  Let me know if you have any other questions. :D
