Test it by swapping with your existing stick, in the same slot, run Memtest, if OK, add your stick to the second slot, test again.

I did not forget you, I just received my memory stick.
I replaced my existing (and tested) RAM with the new one, left it overnight with memtest for 10 hours and it passed.
So tonight I should test both RAM sticks in dual channel?

fingers crossed for Dual channel.
After 9 more hours, the dual channel memtest came back with no errors! I'm already running my computer with 4GB RAM and I feel like in heaven.
I'm off to install the rest of the programs.
