Hi sachsesosweet. Welcome to Geeks to Go.

Download Ad-aware from: http://www.lavasoft.de/res/aaw6.exe

Install the program and launch it.

First, in the main window, look in the bottom right corner and click on Check for updates now and download the latest reference files.

Next, we need to configure Ad-aware for a full scan.

-> Click on the Gear icon (second from the left) to access the preferences/settings window

1. In the General window make sure the following are selected:

* Automatically save log-file

* Automatically quarantine objects prior to removal

* Safe Mode (always request confirmation)

2. Click on the Scanning button on the left and select :

* Scan Within Archives

* Scan Active Processes

* Scan Registry

* Deep Scan Registry

* Scan my IE favorites for banned URL’s

* Scan my Hosts file

* Under Click here to select drives + folders, choose:

* All of your hard drives

-> Click on the Advanced button on the left and select:

* Include additional process information

* Include additional file information

* Include environment information

* Include additional object details

-> Click the Tweak button and select:

* Under the Scanning Engine:

o Unload recognized processes during scanning

o Include basic Ad-aware settings in logfile

o Include additional Ad-aware settings in logfile

* Under the Cleaning Engine:

o Let Windows remove files in use at next reboot

-> Click on Proceed to save the settings.

-> Click Start and on the next screen choose Activate in-depth Scan at the bottom of the page and then choose:

* Use Custom Scanning Options

-> Click Next and Ad-aware will scan your hard drive(s) with the options you have selected.

-> Save the log file when it asks and then click Finish

-> When finished, mark everything for removal and get rid of it. (Right-click the window and choose Select All from the drop down menu and click Next).

-> Reboot your computer.

And post a new Hijack This log.

You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure. Please move Hijack This to a permanent folder (i.e. C:\HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible.

First of all, I strongly recomment you uninstall "Spyware Begone" through the control panel, at it is doing no good. See the "Rip-off Removal Software" link in my signature.

We need to remove the pepper trojan. Download this file, run, and let terminate (it'll just blink briefly on your screen and won't appeared to have done much--this is normal):
http://www.geekstogo...=download&id=18

After that, roll-up your sleeves and let's go in there and remove those bad boys manually <_<. Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu). Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following:

C:\Program Files\TV Media\
C:\WINDOWS\System32\inetp60.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\rwkfntx.dll
C:\WINDOWS\gsim.dll
C:\Program Files\IncrediFind\
C:\Program Files\zSearch\
C:\WINDOWS\AdRoar.dll
C:\Program Files\SEP\
C:\WINDOWS\ARUpdate.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Remove_spyware.exe
C:\Program Files\AWS\
C:\Program Files\SnowMate\
C:\WINDOWS\System32\Shdocvw.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32/left.html
C:\Documents and Settings\Hamm\Local Settings\Temp\pma0E.dll
C:\Program Files\websearch\

Next, please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

If you do not have any bills to be reminded of, fix this one too:
O4 - Global Startup: Billminder.lnk = C:\Program Files\QUICKENW03\billmind.exe

I have to check back with other staff about your 010: broken internet access line.

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log, and let us know how your system's working. :D

My bad. I mixed up download.websearch.com with websearch.com. Sorry about that. Won't happen again. You're in good hands.

About the 010: broken access line, please download LSPFix from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm and Run the Program. Disconnect from the Internet and close all Internet Explorer Windows. Check the "I know what I'm doing" Button. Move "osmim.dll" from the "Remove" side to the "Keep" side, then press the "Finished" button at the bottom-right.

Welcome back. <_<

Download the latest version of Ad-Aware from here (if you already have Ad-Aware installed, make sure that it is the latest version and always go online and update it before you run it).

Download Lavasoft's VX2 Cleaner plug-in here
http://www.lavasoftu...x2cleaner.shtml

How to use Lavasoft's VX2 Cleaner plug-in

- Close Ad-Aware 6 and Ad-Watch (if running)
- Download the free VX2 Cleaner at http://updates.ls-se...lvx2cleaner.exe
- Install the VX2 Cleaner
- Start Ad-Aware 6
- Go to "Plug-ins"
- Select the VX2 Cleaner plug-in and click "Run Plugin"
- If your computer isn't infected, click "Close".

If your computer is infected

- Select "Clean system"
- Reboot your computer
- Scan your computer with Ad-Aware
- Remove any VX2 objects detected
- Reboot your computer again
- Run a second scan to make sure the files have been removed from your computer

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and let us know how your system's working. :D
