java version 8 update 45 is now installed

and still that white background on websites,  not normal even after th fixlist.

removed adobe reader then installed it, I unchecked google chrome and toolbar, but still google chrome was installed strange, but I like it,so ok. in google chrome websites are normal. I only receive a message in a small windows: roughly translated: google chrome is title then : you profile cannot be used because it comes from a newest version of google chrome. some functions are probably not available, give another profiledirectory or use a newer version of chrome.

ALSO: when windows is loader (windows logo appears) it takes longer to startup , I mean it use to start up quicker but a long time windows 7 take more time to load.

Thanks. Once you post the results of the System Update Readiness Tool, please follow the instructions below.

If you would like to use Chrome, I suggest you uninstall it from Add/Remove programs and then re-install it from here.

Let's also reset Internet Explorer.

Step#1 - Reset Internet Explorer

1. Open Internet Explorer

2. Click the Tools icon in the upper right corner (looks like a gear) and select Internet Options.

3. Click the Advanced Tab.

4. Click the Reset... button at the bottom and go ahead and reset.

5. Close the browser once it's all reset.

6. Re-open it and see if it's any better.

Step#2 - Optimize Boot
Note: This process can take 30 minutes or so to run so please plan accordingly.

Download the SDK web installer from here
Run the installer and select the following:

Leave the location to default
wdk%20location.JPG

Windows Performance Toolkit
Wintoolkitselect.JPG

You must reboot on completion of the install

1. Click your Start Orb in the lower left of your computer and type cmd in the search box.
2. Once the cmd program is found, right-click on it with your mouse and select Run as administrator as shown below.
ElevateCommandPrompt.JPG
3. Answer Yes when asked to allow.
4. You should now have a black window open that you can type in to.
5. Copy and paste the following command into the black window and hit enter.
xbootmgr -trace boot -prepSystem -verboseReadyBoot

6. Now your PC will be restarted 6 times. With a two minute pause before the tool runs after the desktop loads. After the second reboot the MS defragmentation program is running and is placing the files into an optimized layout, so that Windows will boot up faster. The last Reboots are training of readyBoot.
Note: If you normally get a logon prompt before getting to your desktop, you will need to log in each of the 6 times that your computer reboots so unfortunately you can't just leave it to run on its own.

Let me know if anything is improved after this. Thanks.

Do I have to do this first before I continut to the next steps?

Where can I find System Update Readiness Tool?

I googled it, it's about if an update or service pack cannot be installed, but beginning this week windows update updated without problem.

For the white background in IE, does the following link describe your problem? Is this what's happening?

http://en.kioskea.ne...em-in-web-pages

If so can you check your theme?

1. Right-click the desktop and select Personalize

2. What theme is yours currently set to? Can you set yours to Windows 7 Basic or Windows Classic for testing?

Yes you are malware-free!! Great to hear IE is better now as well. We'll clean up our tools shortly.

As far as improving the boot a little more, let's try the following.

Step#1 - Review Startup Items

  1. Please download Autoruns from here and save to your desktop.
  2. Open the program and agree to the EULA if prompted.
  3. Select the file menu and choose Run as administrator. Answer Yes to allow if prompted.
  4. Give the program a couple minutes to populate.
  5. Select the File menu, choose Save and save the file to your desktop. It will likely be named with your [machine name].arn which is fine.
  6. Right-click on this .arn file and select Send to….compressed (zipped folder).
  7. Please attach the zip file to your next post

Perfect.

1. Open the program back up if it's not already.

2. Click On the Logon tab and right-click and delete the following two items.

   -NvBackend

   -MedionReminder

3. Click the Services tab and right-click and delete the entry named HPSLPSVC

Also if you don't use Windows Live Essentials, please uninstall it. This program installs Movie Maker, Photo Gallery, Windows Live Mail, etc.

Let me know when complete or if you have any questions. Thank you.

ok, I filtered out those word you mentioned as the list is very large in autorun. then I right click on it and deteled them.

can I disable more of all these entries in autorun and see if system boots faster?

Would it be a problem if I disable all entries?

at this moment bootup time untill desktop is 1 min 6 sec. and kaspersky is still disabled.

But I think that the windows logo screen can go faster it stays there for arround 30 seconds.

Only disable items if you know the consequences of doing so. You can get into trouble if you disable something that is needed.

What is your boot time when performing a Clean Boot?

57 sec.

kaspersky couldn't be disabled so i want to save mode (also 57 sec or 55 sec) then I saw again the white background just before desktop comes up.

then when I restarted the pc to normal mode after disabling kaspersky service, it took 55-57 seconds to show desktop. the windows logo screen still takes arround 35 seconds (included the bios startup, the windows loge screen alone is around 20 seconds).

But now in Internet exploer the white background is back, I can't see the google image. something in save mode trigger it back on.

strange no?

As far as the boot time, there's not much more that I can personally do with it as I'm not a tech. I know I worked with you in December on another machine and had referred you over to Tech and found that Bitdefender was causing the issue. I wonder if it's the same in this case and Kaspersky needs to be complete uninstalled or reconfigured.
