I already installed ie11 with succes.

I already went to msconfig and selected normal mode. But this made the super optimizer active. this was the only item that was disabled but after choosing normal mode, it was enabled.

Awesome. DealPly & FoxTab PDF Creator should be gone from Add/Remove programs.

Is SuperOptimizer gone now?

I only saw the item superoptimizer in startup tab (msconfig) but after the fix, it is gone, only tom tom and secunia psi. Thanks!

Only windows update still doesnt work.

and the app secunia psi doesnt work fluently: if I hit scan for the first time, even after an hour, it's still scanning. but if I stop it and restart the app, then hit scan: after a while I have result.

then the blue circle keeps turning and the programs that needs to be updated are grey, cannot click on it, but if I close secunia psi and reopen it, then I can click on 'click to update' (roughly translated).

Now it says that IE11.x and IE 11.x (64bit)  needs an update.

if I click on the first, windows update window opens, but it shows the error that it can cannot search for updates, although the settings are set to automatically download and install.

if I want to try again and click on the first or second IE11 to update in secunia psi, nothing happens, I close secunia psi, reopen it, and then I can click on it.

No problem!

I've had users sometimes have issues with Secunia. In those instances I normally recommend FileHippo App Manager which is a great alternative. You may want to try that if you continue to have trouble.

Now let's fix your Windows Update issues. Please do the following.

Step#1 - SFC Scan

  • Click on the Start Start%20Orb.jpg button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  • When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  • When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    sfc /scannow
Wait for this to finish before you continue

    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt

  • This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please zip and attach this to your next post. If the file is too big to upload to your next post please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the link.

No problem, I see the repairs that were made from the CBS log.

Let's do the scan again.

Great! One last check and we'll get that update installed.

Step#1 - System Update Readiness Tool (SUR)
1. Download and run the following file.
2. When it asks you if you wish to install, please answer yes. Note: It could take 15 minutes or more to run. Please don't cancel.
3. You will get an Installation Complete screen when it's done running.
4. Please post the contents of the log from the following location. C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log

Perfect. Now try installing the update. It's not uncommon after fixing corruption like this that you need to manually download and install the update that is failing.

Let me know.

Still failed

I browsed for the KB number, it says  (see below, released 14-04-2015) then I checked the IE11 (help, about IE), it shows KB3038314, so I think it's already installed, but microsoft has to fix this issue that this update continues to offer.

ADDED: I just hope automatic update works

see detail : https://support.micr...n-us/kb/3038314

Known issues with this security update

  • After you perform a clean installation of Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, and then you upgrade from Internet Explorer 8 to Internet Explorer 11, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:

Windows Update encountered an unknown error
    error code 80092004

After the clean installation, Windows Update continues to offer KB3038314 even though the security update may already be correctly installed.

If you receive this error message, click About Internet Explorer on the Help menu to determine whether the security update was installed. If the Update Versions line shows KB3038314, this indicates that the security update is correctly installed and that the system is not in an unprotected state.

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.

Nice job!!!!

OK, if that's it go ahead and clean up our tools again and take care.

1. Clean Up!
We need to remove all the tools that we used so that should you ever be re-infected, you will download updated versions which may have updated detection logic.
1. Download Delfix from here.
2. Ensure everything is checked.
3. Click Run.
Note: The program will run for a few moments and then notepad will open with a log. Please paste the log in your next reply.
Note: Delete any  other .bat, .log, .reg, .txt,  and any other files created during this process, and left on the desktop and empty the Recycle Bin.
