You can use Recovery Toolbox for RAR. This tool was specifically developed for extracting information from corrupted archives of the RAR format. For more http://repairrar.recoverytoolbox.... Go to the full post »

I am having a tough time in downloading rar files. When I try to open any downloaded rar file, I got a message saying that the file is corrupted. I am using DSL line for download and I tried to download the file using explorer and Internet Download manager and both gave the same result.

Give 7Zip a try, it's free open source software.
