My computer has been acting very strange. It is running extremely slow. I get error messages about virtual memory being too low. Error message about IE needs to shut down because of Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger and also get the general IE needs to shut down. I have run Adaware, Spybot, Spyware Doctor, Microsoft Antispyware and Mcafee Antivirus. They don't find anything. I will post my HJT log below. Can someone please help? Thanks.

Then reboot.

Let me know.

Thanks Metallica for the quick reply. I did run another scan and checked those two. When I hit fix selected I got an error message that said...........Unexpected error occurred! Error #52 (Bad file name or number) in Sub GetLongPath(?.exe).
Please send a report to [email protected], mentioning what you were doing, and what version of Windows you have. This message has been copied to your clip board.

I closed that error message out and rebooted. When it started to reboot, after it had recognized my hardware, it said Invalid boot.ini, Starting from Windows C:
After it did reboot I got another IE has encountered another problem error. I'll post another copy of my HJT log below, thanks again.

I found it, but it didn't have the .exe at the end. Should I delete it anyway? Thanks

Click Start > Run > type msconfig > OK
Look at the boot.ini tab and let me know what is in there.

There is abutton on that tab that should read something like "check all paths for validity"

Sorry I have to guess here. Mine's in Dutch.

Can you click that button and let me know the results?

System Configuration Utility has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.
Please tell Microsoft about this problem. We have created an error report to help us with system configuration utility.

There is an option at the bottom to send and one not to send. I never send.

One more thing.

Click Start > Run > type Notepad C:\boot.ini > OK

That will open a notepad file with the content of your boot.ini
I'd like to see it, just in case.
