Hi i recently bought arma 2 dayz mod . while playing i average around 20 - 35 fps with most settings low apart from textures.

My computer specs at the moment :

MoBo - Asus F1A55-M LX PLUS R2.0

Cpu - AMD A4-3420 APU

Gpu - asus gt 730 1gb ddr3

Ram - 4gb

Psu - 300w

would this processor be compatiable with my mobo https://www.overcloc...n=affiliate/tag

and will it help me with fps or would you recommend a different one. max budget £40.

its just so i can play some games till i have money to get a full build.

Thanks

Hello bobby101,

The A6 3670K is compatible with your MB but will not significantly improve your FPS over what you are getting now, see CPU comparison here

The present video card is ok for playing less demanding games but nothing too demanding.

4GB of Ram is ok but what speed is it, 1600MHz is good for gaming but anything less is not so good.

Not heard from you for a while bobby101, do you still require assistance or is the issue now resolved, an update would be appreciated.

Yh im here sorry for not replying. over time of not replying i have decided to go get a new GPU as that's what i had been recommended. i got the asus hd7750 1gb ddr5. i have had improvement alot in some games but after using msi afterburner i was pretty sure  my CPU was bottle necking my GPU so ive been in a discussion with some others. here is the thread.

is there any chance you can give me your feedback.
