Steam Games go 3D when I load them? people say its gpu card?

When I load games they go into some sort of 3D mode that I need the old red and blue lens glasses to view. people on the steam forum are saying that I need to go into nvidia control panel. but i am not sure what I am looking for. I am running a nvidia gefource gtx 650. please help ASAP thanks

Did you update to Win 8.1?  Many had the same 3D effect until they installed the updated 8.1 drivers. Try this:

Download latest video drivers -- http://www.nvidia.co...load/index.aspx
Install using custom, checkmark clean install, uncheck install nvidia 3d drivers.
