Hello! Ok, I am using Puppy Linux to go through my files and am transferring them to an external hard drive, and it looks like it is working perfectly.

What choices do I have now? Can i try and install a Linux OS in place of windows on this laptop?

Thank you so much for your help!

Unfortunately I am not the person to help you with that.

Open a topic here and someone from the Linux forum should be able to give the answers you want. :)
