One of my PCs has Onestepsearch running on it and I can't get rid of it. I've run Norton, Adaware SE and Spybot and they got rid of some spyware but but not Onestepsearch. Adaware doesn't seem to recognize that it still exists on the PC.

use your ad-aware,scan with internet explorer open, deleted About:blank Process index. Then changed the default opening page to anything. Your problem should then be solved. :tazz:

Thanks for the response. I ran Adaware with IE open but it had no results to show. I don't understand the second part of your solution - "deleted About:blank Process index". What does this mean?
